>>3458319A trap/femboy (or someone that could be described as a trap/femboy) doesn't need to "not really car(e) about (their) gender", just presenting yourself a certain way has nothing to do with gender. Trans people aren't "born in the wrong body", a chemical imbalance makes trans people feel distressed about not being the opposite sex. Those describable as femboys and most traps:
1) do not feel anxiety when confronted with their own male image (do not experience dysphoria)
2) feel comfortable as male generally
You might be projecting, or you're just making a baseless assumption. Let's assume I'm a woman, I could say "Women are better than men, all men would choose to be trans if not for toxic masculinity", that would be just as blatantly incorrect as what you said. The word "trap" is a sticky subject because there are a lot of people that use it as a synonym for trans (not just lefties, the /trap/ board on 8c**n is/was mostly trans people, with the separate board /cuteboys/ being reserved for men presenting in a more feminine way). There are quite a few trans people that embrace the word "trap" as a self-descriptor. However, this clashes with the large body of people that are just crossdressing men/femboys that use "trap" because of how normalized it is within anime circles. The insistence on labeling anyone that presents in a feminine way as trans necessarily (or use your cop-out "99%") is silly, "gender" isn't even real. There is only sex, spend a bit of time actually thinking about what "gender" is and you'll find yourself in a bit of a knot, because it's not a natural concept it's pure academic theory.
>>3455597>>3458293^ not trans
Of course those are just characters, but the people that choose to identify with them do not become trans.
aaa talk about rambling on jesus whatever it's a tacky conversation to have but I dunno it gets under my skin for some reason. I would agree with you that a femboy/trap is more or less trans if they start taking hormones.
