Nanu on the other hand has bite to him and comes down to other people's level, he amuses himself by teasing and setting them up to learn from their mistakes themselves. He's parental and authoritative but very easily closes the gap with people in ways that do lend themselves to shipping. If anything Piers has more in common with Nanu than Kabu, because they can both be used to bring out dry humor and criticism to contrast with Raihan/Guzma acting spoilt and needy.
