... waiting for the rain to stop, but it just kept pissing down, all afternoon, like it didn't care how sad I felt to be there by myself
and not able to catch any newts or have an
umbrella, or wellingtons, or hat,
to keep my feet dry and save my best trainers from being ruined.
Bad weather sucks, when you're a shota in your best summer kit, and it won't go away.
