It's not strictly 2doc, but "Arsonist's Lullaby" by Hoizer reminds me so much of Murdoc. He's only committed one known act of arson, but it works really well on a metaphorical level for him, what with keeping your demons on a leash, destroying everything good you touch and that sense that deep down, the badness is just a part of you you can never be rid of. And I know it's been said before, but Alt-J's "Breezeblocks" is such a perfectly PB-era 2doc angst song, with it's lyrics of metaphorically, or maybe literally, drowning someone with the weight of your obsessive love. "Like a Friend" by Pulp is almost uncanny in how perfect it is as a 2doc song from 2d's perspective, even likening the 'friend' to a "car crash I can see but just can't avoid". "Too Late To Say Goodbye" by Cage the Elephant is another song that I think has strong 2doc vibes, from 2d's perspective, and is another that likens Murdoc to fire.
I tend to be a bit of an angst whore, maybe.
