Remember there's an anime out there in which the dick of one of the characters is a literal key to hell, a pair of stripper angels fight a literal pile of shit in the first episode and which was created with the purpose to emulate western media and makes absolute 0 effort to make a statement or commentary on anything.
And guess what, it was made by the same people who made Promare possible and to this day is talked about as the greatest series ever animated.
