>>3332885Yeah the Priam wars are strangely reminiscent of when RD came out. When PoR came out everyone was sure the end of the sequel would see IkeElincia support and that was that. Anyone claiming any ship other than IkeElincia or maybe IkeLethe was an insane yaoi crack shipper. Then RD came out and all hell broke loose.
Now I feel like -- not that everyone ships a gay pairing with Ike -- but at least you aren't seeing so much "Ike can't be gay! Ike too manry to be gay!! Crack shippers!!" and there was general peace and now it's just back to straight vs gay again.
A remaster with better graphics, maybe some better voice acting in places (RIP Zelgius) and letting the extended version see the light of day in English would be excellent. But would it attract new Fire Emblem fans to the series? I'm not sure IntSys would do it if they thought it wouldn't do that for them.
Also I wasn't aware of the Fates Ike and that is truly horrifying. What the fuck were they even thinking?
