>>3303312Not everyone can afford to pay for sub fees + there's really no need for them, it's just companies being greedy. You're just making your players pay more for no reason. A one-time fee for the base game and each expansion is more than fine, especially for larger companies, considering there's cash shop sales and stuff as well. Hell, base GW2 is even free to play now and most of the new story content, maps, mounts, items and other stuff that get added to the game every few months are free as well so long as you log in while they're relatively new to unlock access to them on your account. The only content that's not free is the content from the 2 expansions, the newer story if you missed it when it was first released, and the cosmetic/convenience items on the gem store. Except for Arenanet not making any other successful games/big expansions in the past like 2 years and having to lay some people off they seem to have been doing just fine without sub fees
