I would, personally, rather just stick to /cm/ as while I don't particularly mind people knowing my socials or username, I also much prefer how glaringly honest opinions are when there's never a threat of some mod's discord kitten stirring shit up and never being banned.

I've seen fandom spaces from tumblr to pair specific discords and this has by far been the most conducive. You can bring up story from any media and have it discussed. Something that you will not get on reddit without someone morality brigading.

Oh, in that case, I got nothing. Short of starting your own and very intense gatekeeping RP spaces are overall dead.

And I say this as an RPer for a different fandom.

I've watched community after community ruined by both age groups from power tripping millennials to snowflake 16 year olds. Moderation too strict? community can't grow. Mods too lax? You get what you left.

I gave up. I love RP myself, I understand.

The troons are generally fine, but the fictionkins keep interacting with the roleplayers as if they are that character but "ooc" if that makes sense? Like a person will write an RP post in an RP channel and the fictionkin will talk in the general chat about that RP as if they were the one in the situation because they kin the character in the RP. It's pure aids.

I noticed that with doujinshi about female characters. They are so similar I wouldn't wonder if 90% of the artists would deliberately use a template for the book and just vary the scenes at the start, the BGs and the designs a bit. Especially if you search for similar tags you might find stories with the exact same start, middle part and end up to the exact same faces and poses. Add to that the obligatory ahegao at the end and it's like reading the same h-doujinshi 500 times.
Sadly female targeted doujinshi (porn or not) are rarely scanned compared to otaku stuff. I am not the one to talk though, I have yet to scan my ~50 Transformer doujinshi, but I promise I will do it the next months. Though most of them are (surprisingly) wholesome SFW.

Kokosir left the fandom ages ago sadly. Hazbin is actually a step up from their earlier fandoms IMO save for Jojo. Think they stopped with TF around 2017 or something. They were one of my favorite artists too, their Megs in particular is extremely hot and they have great ideas for porn.

I relate though, even the casual discords are usually the way you described them. I would love a discord for artists where we share ideas and inspire each other, but most artist ignore discord groups for a good reason so chances are high that everybody you meet there will draw nothing but their cringe self-insert OC they/them-bot and have the drawing skills of a 12 year old but spams their patreon everywhere nonetheless.

I love Trigger's animating style, but I don't want a Japanese studio adapting something as serious as MTMTE because they do not take Transformers seriously. They would not do the story justice unless the entire writing team was compromised of Roberts and his own crew.
