>>3942580Yeah I picked the anime up for the designs. Didn't plan to watch this at first since the trailer gave off the wrong impression to me, but besides the cool animation it was Godaiin of all people that I considered hot when I saw webms and screenshots of episode 2. Picked it up for him but stayed for others and the historical story itself.
I think the anime did a good job with the designs and most of them are polished versions of the already good manga designs. I especially like anime Sadamune and even prefer him a bit over his manga version. Can't wait to see the Akazawas and a bunch of other dudes in the second season. I also want to know the colors of their hitatare.
