Isami doesn't fit into any of these categories, since he's pretty balanced. He's introverted, but usually when you get such characters they are introverted for a concrete reason (dark past, second identity etc.) or unhappy with themselves and developing. Isami is flawed and not good at socialising, but neither socially awkward nor unhappy with himself or insecure. I love this.
It's certainly a merit that comes from working with adults, but there are so many anime with adult MCs that behave like teens or are badly written regardless.
