>>3723379Looking at AO3 it seems like there was a big wave of AniObi in 2020 with strong SVSSS/2ha vibes — lots of “go back in time and fix it” fics, lots of fic where Obi-Wan goes “oh how could anyone love an old man like me” ala Wanning, lots of fic where Anakin talks like fandom Binghe. I haven’t touched this part of SW fandom since the aughts so I have no idea if it’s been like this for a while, or if danmei fandom actually cross-pollinated.
