Enjoyed uniforms, nice clothes and history since forever, read and studied metric tons on the subject as well as old pulp war comics, kickstarted the fantasy once old enough to understand it. Dudes wearing nifty uniforms in a cruel, no holds barred wartime setting is a neverending source of sexual tension, willpower to humiliate who they perceive as the ultimate threat, and challenge the depth of their own humanity.

Men in their 20s to 50s depending on the situation, height doesn't matter (people were far shorter than in the modern era), angular faces, straight noses, realistic body molded by combat ability and month-long hardships, barely toned to semi-muscular, more on the bruised, scarred and battered side. Light hair and eyes are nice, but no particular preference. Body hair doesn't matter, all head hair lengths longer than 1inch/3cm, retro haircuts, clean shaven to serious 5 o'clock shadow.
