Anons have been using ellipses on here since way back. We started to complain about it when people responded to posts with only "..." and no other text or images, because that wastes a post and pushes the thread towards the bump limit. Doing that shows a user is from somewhere like twitter or tumblr where people act sassy all the time and there is no bump limit. Using it in a sentence here has always been fine, the problem is when someone posts it on its own... And that's the sort of thing the option to report for extremely low quality exists for.

This could go a few different ways.
