>>4047827>>4047836I'm glad that none of these are outright axebait.
The racing one is definitely the weakest. Older brother baby brother is, for some reason, simply a less popular dynamic than unrelated man and boy. And while racing itself isn't a bad choice for a spokon, formula racing is a bit less exciting than something like street racing. But even then, I think it's gotten off to a pretty good start establishing its principal characters and setting itself down a story that, if handled well, should be engaging. Choosing to include such a young main character is a risk. A lot of normalfags recoil at the sight of very young children. But Haruka is cute and sweet in a way that I think will appeal even to non-shotacons.
The new one obviously only has one chapter to judge, but it was a good one. Doing the Reigen and Mob dynamic is a good choice. Already the man is both cool and likeable while also being funny. And I think making the shota look a little weird is a good choice. He's still conventionally cute, but it makes him stand out a bit more. A huge factor in its favor is the current dearth of proper action adventure, travel around beating up monsters manga, which this fills well. My only concern is keeping up with those monster designs.
In my opinion, the exorcist one is the strongest so far. It has the best tonal reach and balance from drama to comedy. The shota is old enough not to trigger normalfag complaints about young characters. The man is competent and badass while still being funny in a dorky, unprepared father way, which I think is an even stronger dynamic than the Reigen one. It's got avenues for monster fighting action and intrigue. And it's in jump+.
All in all, a good batch of shota manga. Here's hoping they all make it.
