Here's some supernatural BLs since so far, it's only been modern ones recommended. They're all pretty short, but I can't help but recommend them anyways. Typing this made me realize how little SFW supernatural BLs I've read and remembered because I struggled quite a bit.
The God and the Flightless Messenger (plot is a bit dramatic)
The Yearning Fox Lies in Wait (bit suggestive at the end, but SFW nonetheless)
Awairo Emaki (same as above but even less lewd)

Up until the V.III Pater foght right at the end of the game, I was convinced he was a cute, inexperienced pilot who needed an authority figure in his life to tell him what to do. Then I read all his dialogue...Psycho Pater is not bad, but I just vastly prefer the cute Pater who whimpers at Hemingway's death.

I mean, there's implications he might not be completely psycho as much as a split personality deal or a psychotic break. I think his whimpering is genuine and after that he just snaps, so you'd just have to treat him gentle and not die traumatically to make him have a Joker Moment.

Most of the game, I was kind of rooting for him, despite him being a Vesper. Seeing his name change to V.V and V.III was also really cute.

Another Vesper I rly like is Swinburne. Despite only appearing for like, 90 seconds, his constant remarks about "discipline" made me wanna discipline him. I imagine V.II has disciplined him quite a lot...

Freud is kinda cute, in the "edgy Shounen villain" kind of way. He's also quite cute when he cries for LOCKSMITH while it explodes.

FromSoft really nailed it with the boys in AC6.
