>>4048542Yeah, Atlus has three studios (not necessarily "teams" though as some studios are big enough for multiple teams) since the mid-00s. The main studio is responsible for SMT mainline and other spin-offs. The second studio, P-Studio, was created to give their cash-cow Persona full studio resources. After P5 and its success, Hashino formed a third studio, Studio Zero, in order to develop new IP, starting with Metaphor. While Studio Zero's next project has not been announced (Metaphor only just came out 1.5 years ago), there hasn't been any news about Hashino returning to P-Studio. As such, P-Studio has been Hashino-free for nearly a decade, but said decade has only seen P-Studio make re-releases (P5 Royal, Catherine: Fully Body, P3 Reload, and the upcoming P4 Revival). P6 has been under wraps and potentially restarted at least once since Covid is rumored to have derailed their original plans for the game. With P6 finally announced and some even rumoring a fall 2027 release (huge doubt from me), it is extremely unlikely that Hashino has had the chance to muck up the new team and whatever new vision that they have for Persona that likely both builds off of what he started with P3 but also probably brings new ideas to the table or clever ways to evolve past ideas Hashino had discarded. Hell, I half suspect that they might even restore the gay option of P4 that Hashino cut in the final hours (it was so complete that the localizers dubbed it because the files were still there and no different than other final-cut event scenes for their workflow so they didn't even notice it wasn't actually part of the final-cut).
