Getting flat out objective health benefits with no downside at all for just getting a shot isn’t the same as the potential benefits that come from removing the foreskin.
And yeah you can do that if you want right now, it isn’t illegal so of course no one can stop you. You just to to accept the fact that if he resents you for it or other people don’t approve than they can do that too.
Fact is that outside of medical requirements it is an unnecessary medical procedure that permanently alters a child’s body. And to compare to vaccinations just comes across as dishonest. Clearly there is an obvious different between getting a shot to improve the immune system and removing a body part. Nothing about what you doing it feels like it’s being done in good faith and is more about what you want and what you like rather than caring at all about your hypothetical child and what they would want. Your anecdote of wishing to be circumcised as a baby is also one that would be in the cast minority of other people who hate being circumcised.
For obvious reasons. You can always do it later if you want, you can’t just get your foreskin back.
