I literally didn't get a tutorial and was shown 4chan briefly as someone underaged by someone underaged in an "Introducing a newbie to 4chan, show us what you got" thread that left me thinking my friend was into porn and gore. I didn't realize what 4chan was and didn't even remember what the URL was. Later I met moot in a meetup and made an ass of myself in front of lifelong friends who all browsed 4chan by having no idea who he was (there's more to it, but maybe moot will explain if he remembers).
That friend who introduced me to 4chan fucked up royally by being an absolute btard and deprived me of a great website where I could have learned and thrived in the community just because he didn't know what the fuck he was doing when talking about 4chan.
I hate anyone who deprives people of the full use of 4chan and believe people should help others use 4chan to its fullest.
That doesn't mean I'm against trolling and light-hearted jokes at other peoples expenses, but keeping people in the dark on how to 4chan is something I absolutely detest.
