I still doubt that. The screenshot you have posted is a Cloudflare captcha page that 4chan opted to skin like its own (this is still missing on 4channel.org
). Cloudflare did in fact switch captchas in response to Google planning to charge customers who exceed one million requests per month or one thousand requests per second. In anticipation of this change, 4chan did the laziest thing as usual: The post timers on /b/ and /pol/ were doubled on April 1st and the grace period before you have to solve another captcha has been extended. Even then, with about 960,000 posts per day, they won't avoid to pay up.
