Stopped playing Nioh for a little bit and powered through the demo. First, it feels so fucking good to always be right. Long before they showed any gameplay I told you niggers that there was a 0% chance that they were going the REmake route, and that it was guaranteed going to be a TPS with more slower paced, traditional gameplay. And you know what? It works. It looks great (outside of the weirdly washed out blacks in the dark hallways which is probably related to their min/max brightness shit), it plays great, and it feels exactly like what I wanted in an RE2 remake.>+No counter moves
While I enjoy them in RE4/5, they really do sap all of the tension once the player has mastered them. The knife should always be a last resort, not the goto weapon when you want to save up ammo for harder targets.>+Knives have durability
This relegates knives to corpse checking, or for more dexterous players to stun and bypass zombies, and I think that's the perfect place for them to be.>+Puzzles are intact
I know a lot of people assumed it was going to be another RE6 run&gun, so I'm happy to be proven right once more.>+Zombies are bullet sponges
Classic T-Virus zombies are back, baby! Retards thought that you could just run around effortlessly popping off headshots to insta-kill everything. Fucking nope. You either evade them or you're going to be dumping a ton of ammo. Picking and choosing what to kill or avoid was a big component of RE2 and it looks like they've brought that back in full force.
So that's the good stuff, on with the bad.>-Leon doesn't shut the fuck up
Why did they think it was a good idea to have him constantly commenting on everything? Why is this not a toggle?>-Denuvo in a demo
Fucking gas yourselves you filthy kikes.>-Sixty fucking dollarydoos with $20 launch DLC and pay to win pre-order weapons
Capkikes ensuring that I just wait until it's cracked and pirate it instead.
