"Retro"

At what point does a game become "retro" in your eyes?
Is it forever a title associated with cartridge-based games? If not, how much time do you think needs to pass before a game or system is considered retro?
For example, I think plenty of people would consider the SNES to be a retro console, but are we at the point where the PSX is also retro? Is Spyro 1 a "retro game"? It's just a cunt hair under 20 years old at this point, is that enough time for it to earn that classification?
