>>67350940>What are the discounts?
There are no discounts.>Ethernet Port
It's not very clear in the story, but at the very least, you can create your own little LAN with other people who have ports in their heads. I would be surprised if it didn't let a person use the internet with just their brain and a cable, though.>Expand Warehouse
Size-wise, large enough to have a horizon.
Ecosystem is based on whatever you tend to store in there.>Awaken Item
Size, intelligence, durability, capabilities. Canonical examples are a little pen dragon absorbing some mainframes or supercomputers and growing to the size of a bus, and a basic stapler implanting compulsions.>Meme
It can briefly manifest a physical form, and could be a companion if you import it in a later jump, I guess.>Mental Compulsions>Does whatever I find in the dungeon count as company property?
Yep.>Orb Appendix> or made into Nodes.>What's a Node? You don't mention them anywhere else, and none of these examples have a node example.
The story ended without really exploring that. We know that a red orb can transmit, share, or reveal specific information (like, the exact temperature outside, in Celsius), and that orange orbs can warp spacetime - but it's not known whether those are specific to the orb, or how it's set up.>Also, why not offer orbs in the item section? That seems like an obvious thing to include.
Because orbs are fairly plentiful in the dungeons, and once they're cracked or absorbed, they're gone. I don't want to give a refilling orb collection because that would pretty much remove the entire impetus for delving in the first place, and a flat "have some orbs" isn't worth offering if they don't get restored.
