Well, I'm not gonna deny it.
I mean, I could, but I won't.
I really don't think "I want to be Link" is worth having to buy 1200CP worth of Link-related memorabilia so you can be the true #1 Link fan. I will argue that on principal.
Link's whole deal is that he's just a guy who's heroic and then he goes out and finds items to be more heroic. He's not worth THAT much.
Further, I think people should be able to be the mute self-insert character without having to dump a load of points into it? And I know most people hate power loss drawbacks.
But I don't feel like I'm being unreasonable here. I've already said, "What if you just buy a specific perk to get the role?" or "What if you just hbuy a capstone?"
That could still be like 600CP, if you're the wrong origin. But the way it is now, you're just trying to meet a huge number limit.
I'm also of the opinion that being Link on its own isn't really worth getting points back; which, if that happened, I'd actually have to pick up more drawbacks, because my current build is getting points for that.
Like... I don't feel like I'm being inflexible?
Is everyone just okay with a huge number quota? Bigger than your starting budget?
That doesn't even care what specifically you spend it on? That seems really weird to me.>>67183137> I’m 99.999% sure that this is badwrongfun.
That's probably why Ganondorf called me a shit and then punched me across the room.> Also, weren’t you a bird?
I was when the option to be a bird was allowed. Originally, it was NOT allowed, and so I wasn't a bird! But then Blade opened it up and said you could be a bird, and still take the drawback to be Link. So I did that.
If he wants to say I can't be a bird again, I can just not be a bird.
Being a bird isn't important to me.
I just like being a bird.I wanted to draw parallels between our sleeves;
Ganondorf has those HUGE sleeves in Wind Waker, and as a bird, I needed huge sleeves to accommodate my wings.
