>>64873575> Fucking sweeet!
Hahah, thanks. I channeled my inner chuuni for this, and then added a helping of edge for good measure.
Honestly I shot this out in like an hour, and it really shows, but considering the source material I feel like that suits it better.> Love the power, by the way.
Thanks, I actually worked at it! Longer than the hour, I mean. It took me some time to figure out what I wanted to do.
I eventually decided to combine aspects of my jumper (pretending to be normal/fangirlism/self-insertion fantasies), the replacement of Doseigi (which would have been handwaved otherwise as "always been that way"), and the very worst possible interpretation of "jumper taking over a background history" (for that extra edge).
I used Hidden Guilty as a major cost comparison, with some bits from XYZ.
I thought about just needing to eat some relevant organ like the heart (relationships) or brain (memories), but ultimately decided "Nah, not edgy enough. Also it actually works better if it's somewhat inconvenient."
So I'm pretty happy with how that turned out.>>64873841> THAT PUN. YOU MONSTER.
Pwahahahahaha! All my best abilities are puns!> I said to no one.
It's not that unusual for me or even my companions to disappear for a time, and since nobody was talking about strange behavior or things happening (beyond Harmageddon), I doubt my companions knew where to look.
They did admittedly probably look at this place and go, "What the shit is this?" And leave.
What's more, the whole event takes place over, like, less than a day, actually. So even if I took my time finding them afterwards, it wouldn't actually be that long, especially for me.> "Hey, so, what're we doing this jump? What's the plot?"> "Oh, it's already done."> "What?!"> "Yeah, Harmageddon, that's the plot."> "But that was only a few hours!"> "Yep. Wanna go hit up some restaurants?"> "... [sigh] yeah, okay."
