So, the banchou group is basically "good guys who look like bad guys", and the student council is basically "bad guys that look like good guys."
And they're gonna fight. Within, like, three hours of the time you're gonna land in the jump, an event called "Harmaggedon" is gonna go down, and during that all rules are temporarily abolished (meaning the Chairman's power doesn't work at all), giving the Banchous a chance to murder his ass.
There's a bunch of "Itsukikarayama-san has the special 'kill all men within a meter of her' power so to counter that we'll use Hajipajikaji-sama's power to turn ourselves into girls!" power-countering setup bullshit, and then they go to war.
Complicating all this are the Transfer Students, who are people hired from another dimension by a math teacher to kill all the majins because the math teacher hates majins. I can't even make this shit up.
The Transfer Students have more broken powersets and are literally invincible to direct physical damage; but, have no defense against things like poison or curses or anything that isn't direct damage. Basically if your attack doesn't amount to "hit this guy", they'll die like anyone else.
And they're waiting in the wings to kill off whoever survives the war.
But the other sides know that the transfer students are there, and have just decided to kill each other first because ??? fuck it, enemies gotta enemy.
And anyway, after 11 chapters I just skipped to the last (untranslated) volume to see who wins, and it's the banchous. The Banchou Group wins. They're the good guys.
They pose all cool together in the last panel.
Anyway, in terms of biggatons nobody can so much as blow up a town or city, so it's low power in that regard, but people do have anti-personal conceptual powers like "auto-gib people who meet <x> condition", although some others just have stuff like "runs really fast". It varies.
The powers supplement lists every power shown, if you want to look.
