So, a heckload of generators, an exhaustive list of magical and technological data, a dash of spiral power, and just, basically, everything I can find to feed in more data and power and infrastructure to this thing, and...
So, uh. What it does. That might be a good thing to go over.
How about... "I don't know!", and, "Everything?"
Star Dream effectively tries to quantify and reproduce everything, though its ability to do so is still limited in the game by output and understanding. The Phantasm, plugged into the network, acts as a means to interact with and manipulate (often destructively, as the "End of Stories") all points in space and time... although its ability to do that is also dependent on supplied power. The aim is, essentially, to combine those abilities and gain complete control over ... uh ... "control". Everything. Everywhere, in all points in space and time.
Hence, "The Infinity Engine".
And we're not there yet.
Hence the term "Alpha Project", or "a project that is still in alpha stages".
Because for safety reasons the command unit and all thought processing has to remain fragmented (so that it doesn't get any ideas), and is not made truly sentient, so there's a lot of heavy relays and warm-up time involved to actually do... 'anything', let alone 'everything', and the amount of energy required to actually accomplish 'everything' may not actually exist in the conceivable universe.
Which, given that I operate off Multi-Dimensional Theory, "conceivable" is quite a big number.
And this all basically comes down to the central idea of, "I have no idea what the hell I'm doing. But I'm sure as hell doing SOMETHING."
And even so! When you actually turn this thing on, reality just about shits itself! EVERYONE notices. So it makes a really cool backdrop/setpiece kinda deal! Y'know, kinda "Giygas meets the Ending to Evangelion and 2001: A Space Odyssey.
So that's cool.
Hey! Got any ideas for what I should add to it?
