The Paragon- Center 1, Mountaineer 3, Naturalist 3, Courtier 3
A man wasn't the things he had or even the titles he inherited. He wanted to be more. He mastered the physical on the highest peaks, growing strong and enduring the elements. But a woman reminded him that a man isolated was no man at all. He went to court and mastered the social games that defined humanity. But there was more to the world than a single Court, he sought to know more. They retreated to the mountains again where he found a woman intent on learning everything, and joined her in that pursuit. Once he had mastered the physical, social, and mental spheres he felt himself called to the highest peaks, where the Paragon of Man was touched by the Divine. >Down Keystone
The Killer- Center 1, Foot Soldier 2, Housecarl 2, Operative 2, Occultist 3
He went and fought in the war like every good young man did. He found no glory, pride, or purpose there. Foot Soldiers just killed and died for the games nobles played. If he was going to be a paid killer, he was worth more, so he went North where a raider could earn a fortune if he could fight. He killed and did much worse, but skills like his didn't go unnoticed. He was recruited by the Emperor's secret police. He learned to lie, feign sophistication, and kill with methods less obvious than a sword. Through his work he met others interested in his skills as a killer, and they taught him dark magics which made him even more capable. When they asked him to kill the sacrifice and he was bound to an ancient master of death, it seemed fitting. Maybe he'd finally found a friend. >Center Keystone: The Noble- Center 6, Operative 3, Coutier 1
A Nobleman to the core, sophistocated and dutiful. Hasn't taken a wife because his marriage should and will be arranged, as is proper. He kills for the crown when called upon and appears in court to make the connections his family needs, but there is no where he'd rather be than at home.
