They complained that I'm not giving anything enough depth or long running story threads, which is hard since they've killed just about every NPC and all the quest givers they've had up until now in the belief that one could have been EVIL PEOPLE IN DISGUISE, ignoring that one of them has a Detect Evil spell, has used it, and yet still decided to go along with murdering an NPC just because "maybe they're resistant".
I'm not having fun at this point, and two of the five players are started to catch on that murderhoboing isn't all it's cracked up to be but the other three are just not allowing them to say much besides agreeing on murder.
One dude plays a pally and he killed a little girl (because she could have been an evil drow in disguise!!) and he's angry because his god took away his divine abilities for it. He said I was being unfair because his paladin was just doing what any paladin would when encountering a mysterious urchin in a forest. His character sheet had 'Lawful Good with Chaotic Neutral Tendencies', which probably should have been a red flag to be honest but he seemed chill at the beginning.
Also, nowhere in the campaign have I had a quest giver turn out to be evil. Like they just decided on this themselves.
