Schizophrenia is an emotional disturbance in reaction to observations/experiences not matching up with personal preferences.

Example: Wanting to love your mother/father when your mother and/or father is/are predator/predators.

I believe this emotional disturbance is a tool. I believe it is an involuntary craving for meaning. This emotional disturbance is a destructive force of nature for no other reason than to make sense of reality.
