Who ever said we can't get that big? There are extinct species of 10m primates. What part of the square cube law says something is impossible? Would we be able to retain ordinary human functions? Probably not, since it'd take a bunch of energy and not beneficial from an evo. standpoint. You'd have to consume a ton.
