Wiles did it, hell even Perelman, who hated even being recorded, went out to explain his work at great lengths. But Mochizuki won't even go to conferences dedicated to understanding the work, which is a really shitty thing to do. How can you be angry at the larger mathematical community while doing nothing to explain your work?
