Since the U.S. government has more or less admitted these exist, I guess they're not /x/ anymore.

So what the hell are they? Literal space vehicles? Why would aliens visit us instead of sending robot probes? Why do they prefer to stay hidden, but not *that* hidden? Basically, what's their fucking problem?
