x = +/- infinity
infinity + 1 = infinity
A way to "solve" it is using infinity. If you understand infinity as a limitless number that will grow infinitely. But you cant really add a number to it since its already limitless.
So we can omit the +1 and we get back a fixed equation.
x = x
0 = 0 (we happy? ew)
But now the equation has R solution. That cant be right since we already established that our equation doesnt have a real number solution.
The equation in itself is broken and cannot be solved. I could build broken equations all day, that doesnt mean they are valid or logical. For example:
x + 1 = x - 1
x = x - 2
0 = -2
You should realize that since the equation is broken you can plug in anything you want>x + k = x
In conclusion the original equation is false.
