Reminder that back midway through last century scientists genuinely believed with the same confidence that modern futurists have that we'd have robots and moon colonies and flying cars and von neumann probes would permeate the star system and we would be able to download information in our head and do all that stuff before the year 2000. It didn't happen then, and it isn't gonna happen now.

Shit gets destroyed by the sun if it's not tough enough, not large enough, and too close. We would need a special metal that wouldn't be incinerated by the star while still being close enough to take in the energy. We don't have any such material now.

I think kurzgesagt is pretty good, of course its not a college lecture in science, but it can give you stuff to think about while making it really pretty to look at with outstanding animation, sound desing, writing, etc. Its pretty much entertaiment, but that doesnt mean its inherently bad.

Physics (that goes beyond everyday phenomena) does not qualify as science anymore. There are an increasing number of theories that simply aren't testable and falsifiable and also even the notion that the laws of physics are consistent in time and in space is not a given anymore either.
