>>5699780I started using Unreal specially because the real time featuring, tired of leaving my pc rendering for hours or even days only to finding in the final result something I didnt like and deciding to redo it all over again.
These scenes are like mini videogames, I also program small c++ scripts, the hud and other features. Im planning on releasing these in a near future, so the user can play with them, not only static videos and images.
>Anyway do you rig with bones placing them by hand or is there some auto system now?I sculpt the final pose, that way I achieve the desired wrinkles and deformations on the bodies. Take a look to pic related, I really enjoy sculpting clothes too.
I never start from a A-Pose, so the rigging is kinda tricky here. There are auto systems, but if you want precision those are not the best.
I create my own joints based on each sculpture, same as the face. The eyes and mouth have its own joints too, and I create different blendshapes depending on the character. To be honest, rigging is my least favourite part. Every creative part of this process is done using a tablet.
