Can you redline or do an anatomical trace in the legs on this pose?
I am so confused about the tensior fasciae latae and sartorius on this image.
Proko doesn't delve into this specific pose, and whenever I try to draw them, I'm so confused

I don't know if the legs are pinching or stretching.

Help me out /ic/!

At first I came here to legitimately try to give good advice and would write long thoughtful suggestions to people asking for advice. Close, but not quite. OP model is sitting on her heels your pic is closer to what is known as Onnanoko-zuwari where the thigh is rotaded inwards so the inside of the knee touches the ground rather than the front part.

I used to try to write out lengthy, hopefully helpful posts as well, but most of the time OP or whoever I was referring to would just straight up refuse the information. Sometimes ignoring it, although that wasnt as frustrating.

As an example trying to explain the usefulness of loomis, or the admittedly more abstract "feel the form" from vilpuu.
It's almost always met with temper tantrums and confusing angry lashing out. I realized there are a lot of beginners here, but not just beginners in art....but beginners in life.
And until they learn to learn and or be respectful and thoughtful, there is no point in trying to help or teach.
