in all honesty though, when it comes to twitter, just pick artists who don't post that type of cringe shit. same with twitch and instagram. go out and explore a little bit, that's how it was before. you slowly but surely build up a list of artists you enjoy seeing over months and years.
i really wouldn't consider instagram to be dead, it's a good place to find artists since most of them occasionally share fanart or pieces from their fans or friends.
still, newgrounds is unironically the best choice

There are "normal"(non-histrionic globohomo) people on Twitter but you CANNOT find them without directly searching their name. They don't say much because they know they end up risking cancel brigades and, like you, don't get much interaction because of how hard it is to find others like them.

It's hard to form your own community in places like that. Think of it like a massive crowd of people, where 75% of them are all talking to each other about the same things, but 25% disagree. They are randomly mixed together. Those who disagree don't want to go against the mob around them for risk of reprisal. They keep silent or try to blend in, meaning they'll never actually find those like them, and even if they search for each other, their voice gets drowned out by the cacophony of the majority.

It's a strange case where, the more people you're surrounded by, the lonelier you feel, because a loud mob consensus makes you feel as if no one else outside of them - no one else like you - exists, even if there are millions who actually do.

I think the average artist is just flexible and fashion/fad conscious. They're like a radio that tunes to the strongest radio station. Like most people, they "cheer for the strong horse".

A lefty dominated culture also marginalizes and erases the work of "problematic" artists, to create the illusion of being on the "right side of history".

Even if the person you follow doesn't post about it, it's likely someone they follow will, and Twitter will shove it down your throat anyway thanks to the changes they made a few years ago. It's a shit site, and it's not just because of the userbase.

For twitch you should just look up the art sections and search deep even into 15 view streams at different parts of the day for a few weeks. You'll eventually find a pool artists that are actually cool that barely or never talk about Id-pol. If you're into anime art then turn off the language filter from english and only follow the asians since even if they're sjw's you won't understand. For the more realistic styles there's a much higher chance that the person keeps politics separate.
