>>5448374Yea it is. It's what makes for a believable end product. Now most people will not be able to point out the mistakes in this piece. Regardless I think the majority can tell that something is off. You can get away with it sure. But would you want to make such a stupid sacrifice. Just to be able to pull it off for the most ignorant and lazy among us. I would at least learn the basics regardless. How the ribcage connects to the hips, their basic shapes. Even the elbow in this piece is off and everything just looks like yello or 4 refferences forcefully slapped together. Disjointed.
When it comes to skin tones and general colors It's as lazy as it gets.
When I make a piece I try and impress myself. I want to look at the finished product feeling fullfilled and proud of it. You know?
Nothing quite like it when you've surpassed your own expectations and actually pushed past your percieved skill level by sheer determination. Sort of like separating yourself from the work you're doing. It's another thing in itself and you're just trying to realize it.
