>>5347948The amount of suffering this character endured as a child will not be mentioned, as I don't want information being traced back to 4chan somehow when I publish things a good few years from now. But know that its a miracle they even make an effort to do the "right thing" after all that has happened to them. I don't intend this to be pity porn, or revenge porn, although id like my audience to feel some of both. My real intention is to make people suffer intently, to become so obsorbed within this world of mine that you feel like you've become a part of it, as if your sense of morality has been changed to fit the standard of what is most plausible to accomplish with everyone having some degree of horrible sin they've committed to survive.
For example, the leader of the Nametakers, simply referred to as THE Nametaker, as he is the founder of the society and the first to commit to a life judication, runs an orphanage for children who have lost their parents from the countless ongoing wars. However, the Nametaker feeds off the souls of living things, as he is a godlike entity who has chosen to live with humans, and believes the gods are just products of human mass unconcious. As younger souls grant him more power, he often confronts the children he takes in, and asks them if they want to live with their tradegies and try to salvage their lives, or if theu want him to end their suffering, and use their essence for a greater cause. If they agree to suicide, he ensures the children pass away without pain, and comforts them until their passing before consuming their essence. He does not tell them they are going to a better place though, he tells them that there is no way to know what awaits, and if they are willing to make the jump, that they should know there might be nothing but void awaiting them.
