Loomis is a /beg/ trap
His how to draw books feel like they're written by another person. He's a good artist but not a good teacher. (His proportion stuff is good though)
Keys to drawing is a better beginner book. You need to learn to see before you try to copy and learn to draw.

Fun with a Pencil is the worst of the Loomis books. His others are more useful but probably too intimidating for begs.

Willy Pogany's drawing manual is probably more useful than any single Loomis book taken by itself.

Serious answer? You’re not. This is a book for absolute beginners, it will not singlehandedly allow you to draw whatever you want perfectly. You need to move on to other books, courses, learning anatomy etc. And all this is also not a substitute for actual practice and hard work (more like a gains multiplier if anything).

Can you not actually read? You learn 3D construction starting with the face, then full-body, then gesture and exaggeration, then clothing and drapery.

The things you learn with FWAP give you the building blocks to draw anime uguu girls. Use the potato head, sphere eyes (or potato eyes if you do tsurime), no nose, mouth line, ears.
