I met an individual, a telepath who would abusively poke around my mind and future, laugh at me.
He told me I had no talent, I woukd never improve, I woukd barely improve with effort, didn't want to belueve him despite him being, well, a literal telepath who always got it right, I failed whenever he told me I would fail.

I can't attempt to draw right now, I break down and suffer because I think I'm not going to improve, I lack confidence, I lack skill and talent.
I just need to know what course or resource to follow so I can develop what I need to improve. Many kind anons have given me resources but which one? What if I make the wrong bet and instead of 6 months they turn into 8 months wasted. Idon't know what to do, I don't know if I can do it, if it's for me, if it will be worth it.

Spend time on organic forms until you get it, don't move on until you do. Understanding how draw in 3d is very important.
Here's some important advice: looking at your drawings, you're going too fast. Take it slow, don't rush through it in hopes you'll improve faster, that's not how it works. Go slowly around the form, speed will come naturally. Go. Slow.
And when it doesn't look right, keep working on it. If you can't sit down and do this then I think you're fucked.

You just go there, talk about your problems, they help you and give you meds if necessary and then you go home.
You won't get locked up just for having schizophrenia.
I remember being afraid of telling my therapist about how suicidal I was and I thought they might keep me there, but I was wrong. They were very understanding and told me that it's common for people to have some misconceptions about these things and that they won't do anything without my consent. I don't know how it is in your country, but professionals will definitely help you. And even if they convince you to go to a clinic to stay in, you won't stay there forever. I know it's scary to go at first, but schizophrenia is something that can be managed, it's episodic and there are meds for it after all.
If you have trouble with daily tasks, a therapist can help you as well. My therapist helped me move to a home that had helpers and they'd come in and regularly check up on me and help me with some stuff. Once I was better, I moved out and I can manage living on my own now.
Seeing a therapist will definitely help.

With some luck, you won't even have to wait long or at all.
You don't have to do it right away, you can do it later when you're feeling a bit better. Just write it down or something, don't forget about it.

In a real drawing course, you would be moving on to intermediate topics after 6 months - consider that a beginning drawing class is 4-5 months, with 6-8 classroom hours a week, and about the same in outside classroom work.
After six months you should be fusing the fundamentals into a more cohesive understanding and using that to complete more finished pieces. expanding into more elaborate compositions, challenges like texture and lighting, and completing finished pieces.
But all you've done in 6 months is get better at "grinding" the same things over and over. You don't have a teacher to say "You're ready for the next step, try this: ". This is the /ic failure loop, thinking spending six months or in some cases years doing the same things over and over that successful art students spend maybe a week on.
Stop "grinding", and start drawing.

i've been in and out my art fase for the past 4 years. i mostly scribble and i've been practicing fundies for what a week or 2 total?
i dont want to work in this industry, art it's just an hobby. if you are not like me and you want to make great stuff here some advices that help me sometimes:
-change the way you sketch (cirlcles and boxes can go fuck themself for me, use triangles, ovals, organic shapes and the add a contour line or build your subject from that)
-use different techniques and find what fits you (i.e. i cant draw a portrait starting from a sfere but i can do it measuring and drawing the outline of the face first)
-COPY!COPY!COPY! just like a child! you dont know how to draw a nose? copy what other did and with some anatomical knowledge you'll get it right (you'll eventually be able to absorb a style and modify it)
-and last but not least, OBSERVE, before even thinking to draw something observ it: see how light and shadows work together, how lines flow in each other
this is something i've drawn today just because i felt down, again, and wanted to distract myself. i know, it's not great but it feels like a huge step forward for me (it took about 2.5h also the blue lines are mistakes i've noticed overlapping the pic and the draw)
tl;dr i suck at this therefore dont listen to me

If not, shut up kid, it takes years and years to get good, and not everyone advances at the same rate as one another...I've spent 30-odd years dabbling with drawing, and there's still a myriad of things I could learn and attempt to master, but I don't get down in the dumps about it, it's a good thing, it means I'll always be interested and engaged in this hobby...six fucking months...I've spent six months or more on one fucking drawing! I've come back to a drawing, years later, and finished it! The drawing I'll post as an example, sat on the back burner for 4 years, till I decided to complete it.
