Does a Jelly fish just kind of look like a brain or does the jelly fish represent something?

Jellyfish string you. They are very strange, almost alien like animals. They can't live on land, and we can't live in water. You can't even really eat them like you could with fish. I see them as a hostile threat but kind of beautiful to look at from a distance. Is that a fair description of a female brain?
