Why does /ic/ only consider paintings and meme over rendered digital paintings as "complete works". Why can't a charcoal figure drawing be a "complete work"?

I always considered it like sports. A guy might be a good runner, and might be able to kick goals well, but all of his skill in that is just practice for when he's on the field and pulls it all together to show off what he can really do. You should be practicing for a purpose.
