Just wanted to start a discussion about Kim Jung Gi. Post art or discuss

I know the dude has a massive visual library but I think his technique is a bit mystified. I don’t think he can really visualise his whole drawing perfectly before he draws it. I just think he’s drawn so much he can just sort of start drawing and roll with it on a rough idea of what it’s gonna be.

I’m half way through his short drawing humans course. He literally discusses how he drew box men until he was experienced enough to just draw it complete. I found this quite encouraging and it makes me want to practice being less reliant on construction guidelines. Anyway, post, discuss, love, hate. whatever
