The vast majority of my professional work is under NDA right now, so no public sharing :(
Here's something I made last week tho:
>>488580926 Rapidly approaching boomer status
Influences: literally hundreds, and it changes wildly depending on the project. Mainstays are Bengus (specifically his art for the capcom vs series and their spritework), western comics (don't really read them tho lol) action cartoons from the 90s-2000s, the classic sonic series, vaporwave art, meme art (like those pixel art reaction images with the super detailed faces from 4chan), and internet art in general. Jamie Hewlett, Dice Tsutsumi Patrick Nagel, Grace liu, Dead Leaves, Hylics, Jake Parker, KJG, The persona series, you get the idea.
Fun fact: I was the only illustration major in my graduating class (or more, unfortunately) to receive formal education on perspective from our GLORIOUS PRIVATE UNIVERSITY, but only because I was granted special permission to take a class for industrial design freshmen during my final semester. Prior to that, I believed I had some kind of art learning disability because I wasn't able to draw/paint creatively and couldn't use my mental bank.
Scott Robertsons "How to Draw" book is great, but holy SHIT is it dry. Thank God for channels like MDJ that break it down and show how to practice.
