Second, you should draw on a larger scale if you’re trying to get complex facial gestures. Use a mechanical pencil.
Finally, you should avoid such complex scenes when you’re still beginning. It’s easy to envision it, but it looks like shit when you put it on paper and discourages you. Do simple but attractive stuff and stick to whatever works for you; then, years later you can approach these more complicated scenes, if they at all still hold your interest.
