Anybody who looks at the student galleries for those courses will know that people improve leaps and bounds by taking it. It's basically a drawing fundamentals course on steroids. 2. The course encourages one to draw from observation. So go and explore if you want.
3. A good portion of it is observational drawing, but it's also about construction. The whole point is to start learning to see objects as combinations of primitive forms. So you can break down those objects into easier-to-draw fragments. Over time, your brain will get very used to this and even start doing the construction in your mind's eye before actually putting pen on paper.
