you already have the drive to finish a whole painting, so it should be no problem for you to try a different approach
i would first sketch her overall pose, fast and without thinking about color, backgrounds, shadows, clothes etc. then studying my own approach, wondering why the pose is looking off, by looking at references and understanding the differences, and then doing it again and again
Or try getting into the individual body parts first. Draw her nose a hundred times if necessary, while attaching it to a different premade head or something every time to notice differences, the really important part is to go step by step and, as I said, doing it again and again, not by spending the same amount of time, like probably 10 hours to complete the painting and then start wondering where to start correcting the mistakes
sooner or later you will get better at drawing the nose, even if its such a small detail you will notice improvement, and only then move on to the next step
