how do i "make the drawing look good"?

there are countless drawings with piss poor anatomy that get really popular simply cause "they look good" the pic above was very popular despite its horrible anatomy (look at how long Akame's shin is)

while my anatomy is also off, I don't get the same kind of support as art similar to the one related. how can I replicate their success of making a drawing look good with bad anatomy?
