In my opinion I would suggest anyone first to learn proper anatomy, even half way and then draw as you want as it gives big flexibility and understanding why something looks like that and not other way.
Process of creating can be both frustrating and fun so focus on working everyday. Find art book that you enjoy and follow it, there are many good on b-ok site
On what sources you learn from really depend what you like to draw, more anatomical lifelike I suggest Vanderpoel who explains every detail one by one plus anatomy for artist by goldfinger which is superb when it comes to material.
Bridgeman and Hogarth are good but sometimes can overflow with data and sometimes not give enough in some places.
Hampton is nice for learning how to pose more dynamically, to give characters a feeling of life
.
For perspective, perspective made easy by Norling was very smooth learning experience as intro to more complex literature.
If you want more complex, step by step academy book there is the natural way to draw by Nicolaides. Other good book is advanced drawing skills by Barber.
I could more and more but really it shows that there is really a lot of materials that you can use depending on what you want to learn as hobby or as way to be a pro.
There are also good artist mentors at youtube, that are actual pro that live from art beside proko. They have their own tutorials, classes, a lot of free stuff to learn from.
Just draw and enjoy, there are some good things on /ic/ but as everything needs to be heavy filtered.
Question is what do you like to draw and how. After that it's easy.
